Sarah Burkett

Professional Experience: Sarah is a licensed Realtor and has a Bachelor of Science in Health from Texas A&M University.  Sarah worked as a Certified Child Life Specialist at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston before moving back to East Texas.  This profession provided Sarah the opportunity to work closely with families from all over the world, advocating and providing support to the entire family as they faced the many different challenges a cancer diagnosis brings.  Through this experience, she became a compassionate listener, effective communicator, and was able to provide step by step guidance, all of which are skills that compliment her today as a licensed Realtor. 

Since childhood, Sarah has valued having an awareness of community needs, serving those in our local community, and giving generously of her time and resources.  These are some of the reasons Sarah was drawn to joining WP & Company, as this team pours back into the community through their Community Partner Program.  Sarah is passionate about walking alongside clients through every step of their real estate experience to make it as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Whether it is selling or purchasing a new property to call home, it brings Sarah joy to assist others in successfully achieving their real estate goals and dreams! 

Personal Information:  Sarah and Nick have been married since 2002 and have two beautiful daughters.  Being native to Tyler, they returned in 2009 with a desire to raise their girls in the community they dearly love and have always called HOME.  Sarah also enjoys serving in her local church and daughters’ school.

Little Known Facts: Sarah loves to bake with her girls, play tennis, browse antique shops and cheer on the Aggies (in all sports)!
